The Primer

How It Works

From opening an account to requesting a prize: understand the coins, free entry options, and checks along the way.

The games may look familiar, but the account uses virtual currencies. Play-only coins and sweepstakes entries serve different purposes. Read the free entry and prize rules before treating either balance as money.

Step 1 — Check eligibility

Confirm you meet the operator's age requirement (typically 18+, 21+ in some states) and that your state isn't on its excluded list. See US State Availability.

Step 2 — Create an account

Expect to provide your name, date of birth, address, and email; a phone check may also be required. Enter details that match your identification to avoid problems at verification.

Step 3 — Receive your free coins

A welcome grant may include GC and SC without a purchase. The amount and verification steps depend on the brand.

Step 4 — Earn more free Sweep Coins

  • Daily logins — small recurring grants for returning players.
  • Social promotions — giveaways and codes posted on operator social channels.
  • Mail-in requests — the postal alternative method of entry described in each brand's sweepstakes rules.
  • Missions and tournaments — gamified events that award coins for participation.

Step 5 — Optional purchases

Gold Coin packages are optional and may include bonus SC. If you buy one, decide your spending limit first. A purchase does not guarantee a prize.

Step 6 — Play

Check the selected currency before each session. GC is for entertainment; SC is used for sweepstakes play. Slots and other chance-based games offer no guaranteed winning strategy.

Step 7 — Verify and redeem

A redemption request usually involves a minimum eligible balance, completed playthrough, and identity verification. Have the required documents ready and check the operator’s methods and processing estimates.

Why it's structured this way

Virtual currencies and free entry are central to this model, but they do not establish that a particular site is permitted in every state. Consult the current rules for your location.
